Job Description: Student Coordinator

Location: URBX Knowledge Park, Thrikkakara, Cochin

Position: Full-Time

URBX Knowledge Park is seeking a dedicated and proactive Student Coordinator to act as the vital link between students, faculty, and administration. This role requires excellent communication, organizational, and people skills to ensure smooth academic operations and an engaging student experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about student welfare, able to manage multiple responsibilities, and provide timely support to ensure academic and personal growth of the students.

Key Responsibilities

1. Student Support & Engagement:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for student queries, concerns, and feedback.
  • Regularly interact with students to track attendance, participation, and academic progress.
  • Foster a positive learning environment by resolving issues and supporting students' well-being.

2. Academic Coordination:

  • Assist faculty with class scheduling, exam planning, and resource management.
  • Maintain up-to-date student records, including attendance, assessments, and certifications.
  • Communicate important academic updates, deadlines, and events to students.

3. Event & Activity Management:

  • Coordinate extracurricular activities, workshops, seminars, and student development programs.
  • Support in planning field visits, industry interactions, and certification processes.

4. Administrative Support:

  • Ensure smooth communication between students, faculty, and management.
  • Prepare reports and updates on student performance and share with relevant departments.
  • Assist in onboarding new students, including orientation and induction processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Education, Management, or related fields preferred).
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in student coordination, academic support, or administrative roles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in basic office software (MS Office, Google Workspace).
  • A student-first mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks with empathy and efficiency.
