Role Overview

We are seeking a Spring Boot Developer with 1 year of professional experience. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of REST APIs and backend services using Spring Boot, while collaborating closely with our frontend and DevOps teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain Spring Boot applications and microservices.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs for integration with frontend and third-party systems.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Java code following best practices.
  • Work with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
  • Implement Redis caching and session management to optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers (React/Angular) for seamless API integration.
  • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
  • Work with Git version control and agile project management tools (Jira/Trello).
  • Deploy applications on cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) or on-prem servers.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of Java (Core + Advanced).
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and Microservices basics.
  • Experience with at least one RDBMS (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
  • Basic exposure to Redis (caching, session management).
  • Working knowledge of Kafka/RabbitMQ (event-driven systems, pub-sub).
  • Understanding of Spring Security (JWT, OAuth2) for authentication and authorization.
  • Familiarity with Git version control.
  • Good debugging and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

  • Experience with frontend basics (JavaScript, ) for API integration.
  • Prior work in Agile/Scrum methodology.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience in Spring Boot development with Redis.
