Job Description
As a Windchill Developer at ITC Infotech, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of Windchill PLM solutions tailored to meet the business needs of our clients. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance and customize Windchill applications, ensuring high-quality software delivery. Your role will involve analyzing requirements, creating technical specifications, coding, testing, and providing support during deployment. You will also assist in troubleshooting any issues that arise and optimize existing systems for performance and usability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and customize Windchill applications according to client specifications.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Design technical solutions and develop technical specifications for implementation.
  • Write and maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Conduct unit testing and provide support during system testing and integration.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
  • Perform system upgrades and software maintenance.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in PLM technology.

Skills Required

  • Strong proficiency in Windchill customizations and development.
  • Experience with Java programming and Object-Oriented Design principles.
  • Knowledge of Windchill data model, workflows, and document management.
  • Familiarity with Windchill API and web services.
  • Understanding of PLM concepts and practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills to support collaboration with stakeholders.

Tools Required

  • PTC Windchill PLM software.
  • Version control systems such as Git or SVN.
  • Development tools such as Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA.
  • Database technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
  • Project management tools like JIRA or Trello.
  • Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
