Job Description:

This role leads a high-performing procurement team within Dentsu Global Services, driving service excellence, cost efficiency, and best-in-class procurement practices. The Procurement Manager will oversee strategic sourcing, third-party vendor governance, and contract management to deliver measurable value across regional and global operations. A key focus of the role is achieving deflation across all procurement spend categories while ensuring compliance and risk mitigation

Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement Strategy & Execution
    • Own end-to-end procurement for all categories such as marketing services, IT, professional services, Marketing, L&D, Hiring, facilities, and travel
    • Lead supplier selection, negotiation, contract management, and performance improvement initiatives
    • Centralization of all procurement function across DGS.
  • Third-Party Vendor Management & Compliance
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic third-party vendors
    • Ensure vendor compliance with contractual, regulatory, and ethical standards
    • Collaborate with legal, risk, and compliance teams to monitor and mitigate third-party risks
  • Spend Deflation & Cost Optimization
    • Drive deflation across all indirect spend categories through strategic sourcing and value engineering
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement sustainable procurement strategies
    • Track and report on savings performance and procurement KPIs
  • Contract & Risk Management
    • Manage high-risk, high-value, and complex contracts
    • Conduct supplier reviews to identify and mitigate risks
  • Process Excellence & Digital Enablement
    • Champion strategic sourcing using e-sourcing tools and category management techniques
    • Drive supplier relationship management to unlock operational and cost efficiencies
    • Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance procurement effectiveness
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Build and lead cross-functional teams to deliver sourcing projects
    • Serve as the escalation point for procurement-related issues
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Influence
    • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to align procurement with business goals
    • Influence executive-level stakeholders to secure buy-in and support
  • Value Creation & Innovation
  • Think strategically about indirect spend categories to identify value opportunities
    • Lead high-impact procurement projects that support sustainability and long-term growth
