Key Result Areas (KRA) – Area Officer (Security/Field Operations)

  1. Multi-site Supervision

  2. Supervise multiple security sites within the assigned area to ensure operations run smoothly and in accordance with SOPs.

  3. Guard Deployment & Attendance Management

  4. Ensure proper guard deployment at each site as per duty roster and immediately fill absenteeism or shortage through backup or hiring.

  5. Recruitment & Onboarding

  6. Coordinate with HR/recruitment teams to hire guards as per site demands and ensure proper induction.

  7. Training & Grooming Standards

  8. Conduct field-level training, briefing, and ensure guards maintain proper turnout and behavior on duty.

  9. Surprise Checks & Patrolling

  10. Conduct routine and surprise visits at sites to check alertness, attendance, discipline, and report deviations.

  11. Incident Handling & Emergency Response

  12. Respond quickly to any incident reported from any site and take corrective actions. Coordinate with local police or emergency services if required.

  13. Client Relationship Management

  14. Regularly interact with client representatives at sites, address their concerns, and ensure high satisfaction levels.

  15. CCTV / Electronic Surveillance Oversight

  16. Ensure all security devices like CCTV, alarms, and access control systems are functional at respective sites and raise alerts if any faults occur.

  17. Compliance & SOP Enforcement

  18. Ensure all guards and sites comply with company standards, client instructions, and statutory norms (like PSARA, labor compliance).

  19. Report Preparation & MIS Submission

  20. Submit daily/weekly site visit reports, incident reports, deployment rosters, and manpower status updates to operations manager.

  21. Coordination with Operations & Office Team

  22. Act as a key communication link between the ground team and the office team /operations team.
