We are expanding our Unified Communications business unit—one of our fastest-growing verticals—and are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join our Quality Engineering team in Bangalore. This role is focused on manual testing of meeting room solutions, including Teams and Zoom-certified devices, control panels, and integrated AV systems.

Responsibilities

· Define and execute comprehensive manual test strategies for UC devices and peripherals.

· Review product requirements and technical specifications to identify quality risks early.

· Author and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test matrices.

· Perform functional, regression, interoperability, and firmware validation testing.

· Validate firmware updates, OS builds, and application software across releases.

· Reproduce and triage field issues; conduct root cause analysis with debug logs and traces.

· Track defects using test management and bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).

· Provide test coverage analysis and quality metrics to leadership.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams across software, firmware, hardware, and product.

· Manage testbeds and hardware configurations for assigned domains.

· Contribute to process improvement initiatives and drive quality excellence.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, or Computer Engineering.

· Minimum 6+ years of experience in embedded systems, firmware, and hardware testing.

· Proven experience testing Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, smart displays, and collaboration endpoints.

· Strong understanding of audio/video rendering, camera framing, and HDMI and AirMedia content presentation quality.

· Deep knowledge of HDMI, USB, and AV signal flow.

· Solid grasp of networking protocols including TCP/IP, DHCP, VLANs, NAT, DNS, Switches, and Proxy configurations.

· Working knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.

· Exposure to scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) is a plus.

· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality results under tight timelines.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; team-oriented and proactive.
