Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior-level Lead Nursing Quality Excellence, (Deputy General Manager) to join our team in Mumbai on a full-time basis. The candidate will be pivotal in leading nursing quality initiatives and ensuring compliance with international accreditation standards. The role demands strong leadership skills and a passion for quality improvement in healthcare settings.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in nursing leadership, with a strong background in managing teams and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Extensive knowledge in quality improvement methodologies and their application in a healthcare context.
- Profound understanding of accreditation standards and healthcare regulatory requirements.
- Expertise in process optimization to enhance patient care delivery and operational efficiency within the nursing department.
- Strong commitment to patient safety with an ability to develop and implement safety protocols effectively.
- Experience in managing electronic medical records to ensure accurate documentation and data management.
- Ability to achieve and maintain JCI Accreditation (Mandatory skill), demonstrating compliance with international healthcare standards.
- Proficiency in attaining ANA Magnet Recognition (Mandatory skill), showcasing nursing excellence and innovations.
- Preference shall be given to such candidates who have independently handled JCI Accreditation of a big hospital and have knowledge in ANC Magnet Recognition.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of nursing quality improvement initiatives and management strategies.
- Ensure compliance with evolving accreditation standards and guide the nursing staff towards achieving these benchmarks.
- Optimize nursing processes and workflows to enhance the quality and efficiency of patient care services.
- Monitor and maintain the highest standards of patient safety, implementing corrective measures as necessary.
- Oversee the management and effective use of electronic medical records for nursing documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster an environment of continuous improvement and excellence in healthcare delivery.
- Train and empower nursing staff to uphold and exceed quality standards in their day-to-day operations.
- Act as a key liaison between nursing staff and hospital administration on quality assurance and process improvement projects.
