Job Summary

Responsible for participating as an individual contributor in project teams, troubleshooting operational issues, providing technical solutions to operational problems, new product implementation, implementing existing products and services and the overall upkeep and maintenance of designated areas of engineering. Interfaces with vendors, engineering and peer operations organizations. Acts in compliance with industry and Company technical requirements, standards, policies and procedures. Provides technical leadership to junior Engineers and project teams. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities. Acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. May lead teams or projects and shares expertise.

Job Description

Engineer 3:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage user security, integrations with other systems and help with metadata management.
  • Support data analysis, data management, data governance, dashboard monitoring, data quality, data controls, data lineage, and data mapping.
  • Troubleshoot and enhance security models, event processes, custom dashboards, reports, business rules, and member formulas.
  • Collaborate with senior consultants to identify and resolve issues within OneStream applications.
  • Work alongside the development team and project managers to deliver exceptional solutions while adhering to project timelines.
  • Manage OneStream patching and upgrades – timing, communications, testing and support.

 

Role Overview:

As an EPM Solutions Developer specializing in OneStream, you will:

  • Partner with clients to understand their business needs and design tailored OneStream solutions that align with their EPM objectives.
  • Be a key member of the team working on the implementation of OneStream solutions, including configuration, data integration, and application development.
  • Create custom scripts, workflows, and reports to extend the functionality of OneStream applications.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing to ensure the accuracy, performance, and alignment of solutions with client requirements.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to users, ensuring they fully adopt and utilize OneStream solutions.
  • Develop detailed process documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and technical manuals.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively with both internal and client teams, communicating clearly across all levels of the organization.
  • Apply creative problem-solving and technological solutions to address business challenges.
  • Ensure adherence to project standards and timelines, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while navigating ambiguity.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in implementing one or more EPM technologies (e.g., Oracle Hyperion Planning, HFM, PBCS/ePBCS, OneStream, etc.).
  • Minimum of 6 months of hands-on experience with OneStream implementation.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An advanced degree is preferred.
  • Strong functional understanding of financial systems and processes.
  • Demonstrated experience as a team member, lead, or project manager in at least one full life cycle implementation.
  • Proven ability to define systems strategy, develop requirements, design and prototype solutions, conduct testing, train users, and provide post-implementation support.
  • Ability to work independently and manage smaller projects or components of larger projects.
  • Willingness to mentor junior staff.
  • Commitment to gaining exposure to multiple business areas.
