Role & responsibilities :

*Follow up on purchase orders and logistics to ensure on-time delivery of materials.

* Maintain accurate supplier documentation and records monthly.

* Review supplier performance and suggest improvements where necessary.

* Handle material rejections and resolve issues promptly.

* Manage scrap materials and ensure proper disposal procedures monthly

* Update and review daily purchase planning sheets to ensure material availability.

* Fetch and verify purchase indents from SAP to ensure accuracy.

* Work closely with the production team for procurement planning and material coordination.

* Monitor supplier payments, ensuring timely processing and accurate invoicing.

* Optimize purchasing processes to reduce costs and improve inventory management.

Preferred candidate profile :

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

* 7+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing within a manufacturing environment.

* Strong understanding of vendor management, purchase order processes, and supplier negotiations.

* Proficiency in SAP and other procurement tools.

* Familiarity with inventory management, material planning

* Experience in handling rejections, scrap management, and cost reduction strategies.

* Ability to coordinate across teams and manage multiple tasks effectively.
