Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mortgage Underwriter and Closer located in Mumbai. The Mortgage Underwriter and Closer will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing loan applications, verifying applicant information, assessing credit risk, and ensuring compliance with lending guidelines and regulations. Additionally, the role will involve preparing and finalizing loan closing documents, coordinating with external parties, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the mortgage loan process. The candidate will work closely with other team members to ensure timely and accurate loan processing and closing.

Qualifications

  • Experience in mortgage underwriting and Closing
  • Knowledge of lending guidelines, regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing and preparing documents
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Proficiency in mortgage loan software and related tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
  • Experience in the finance or banking industry is a plus
