Job description:

Position Overview: We are looking for a proactive and skilled Desktop Support Engineer with 0 to 2 years of experience to join our IT support team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance to end-users, resolve hardware and software issues, and ensure smooth daily IT operations within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, and hardware. Troubleshoot issues related to LAN/WAN, internet connectivity, and system performance.
  • Handle user account management, email setup, and access rights.
  • Maintain asset inventory of IT equipment and track repairs/replacements.
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware servicing and warranty claims.
  • Respond to support requests via phone, email, or in person and document the same.
  • Ensure timely resolution and escalation of critical IT issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Fresher to 2 years of hands-on experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk.
  • Good knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and basic networking.
  • Familiarity with remote support tools. Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple support tasks.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15, ₹22,000.00 per month
