Aimed at developers who need to add delightful charts to their Web and Enterprise applications, it is currently being used by over 28,000 organizations and 850,000 users in 118 countries - including 80% of Fortune 500 companies.

We're looking to enhance the FusionCharts team in Kolkata by adding members who are proficient in JavaScript application development. You must design, develop, code, test and maintain JavaScript/ECMAScript based applications and components using object-oriented JS framework and prototypal inheritance.

Roles & responsibilities:

- Gain a solid understanding of what data visualization is and how to stretch -its extremities on the web
- Research and prototype complex design solutions
- All round development and coding of client-side logic within browser environment
- Research, design and develop product API
- Test all the aspects of the product from a functionality perspective. Also, test across various browser environments (different versions, configurations and operating systems) to ensure that it works seamlessly

Skills required:

- Strong working knowledge of OOP paradigm and design patterns
- Knowledge of internals of one of the popular JavaScript libraries like jQuery, Prototype, ExtJS and JavaScript frameworks like , , , , Meteor, Cappuccino, and HTML5 frameworks like , , etc. Remember - driving a car and building a car is a very different ballgame
- Helping the developer ecosystem through online forums like StackOverflow, IRC
- Its good to have contributions to open source projects, or his/her own public repositories, preferably in JavaScript
- Ability to design, manage and execute large scale enterprise projects, meeting strict quality standards and following best practices
