Job Title: Supervisor – Cineplex
Department: Operations
Reports To: Duty Manager / Cinema Manager
Job Purpose:
To ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the cinema, maintaining high standards of customer service, cleanliness, and team efficiency across all departments — Box Office, Concessions, and Auditorium. The Supervisor acts as a bridge between staff and management, ensuring seamless coordination and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management
- Supervise daily operations across Box Office, Concessions, and Floor.
- Ensure all areas are clean, functional, and guest-ready before every show.
- Monitor show timings, auditorium readiness, and seat checks.
- Coordinate with projection, housekeeping, and maintenance teams for smooth functioning.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
2. Staff Supervision & Training
- Oversee and guide team members (ushers, counter staff, cleaners).
- Conduct pre-shift briefings and allocate responsibilities.
- Train new employees on service standards, POS usage, and safety protocols.
- Maintain staff discipline, grooming, and punctuality.
3. Customer Service
- Handle guest queries, feedback, and complaints promptly and politely.
- Ensure all guests have a pleasant experience throughout their visit.
- Resolve escalated issues and report major incidents to the Duty Manager.
4. Cash & POS Handling
- Supervise POS transactions at counters and box office.
- Ensure accurate cash handling, daily reconciliation, and deposit procedures.
- Knowledge of Vista software preferred.
5. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all safety, fire, and hygiene standards are followed.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues immediately.
- Conduct routine checks for compliance with cinema operational standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate in Hospitality / Management / Commerce or equivalent.
- 2–4 years of experience in retail / hospitality / cinema operations.
- Prior experience as a team leader or supervisor preferred.
- Working knowledge of Vista POS software an advantage.
Skills Required:
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving ability.
- Attention to detail and time management.
- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, POS systems).
Work Schedule:
Rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹14, ₹15,000.00 per month
