Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Frontend Developer to join our development team. This role offers hands-on experience in modern web development with a focus on e-commerce solutions and Shopify platform development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Build responsive, mobile-first e-commerce experiences that work seamlessly across all devices
  • Implement custom functionality and features based on client requirements
  • Optimize theme performance for fast loading times and improved user experience
  • Integrate third-party apps and APIs with Shopify stores
  • Troubleshoot and resolve theme-related issues and bugs
  • Collaborate with designers to translate mockups and wireframes into functional Shopify themes
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and adherence to web standards
  • Maintain and update existing Shopify stores with new features and improvements
  • Stay current with Shopify platform updates, best practices, and emerging trends

Required Technical Skills:

  • 1+ years of experience in Frontend Web development
  • Strong proficiency in Liquid templating language
  • Expert-level knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
  • Solid understanding of Shopify's theme architecture and file structure
  • Experience with Shopify CLI
  • Proficiency in responsive design and mobile-first development
  • Understanding of version control systems (Git)
  • Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques is a must.
  • Familiarity with Shopify's API and App development (plus)
  • Experience with CSS preprocessors (SASS/SCSS) is a plus.

Required Qualifications & Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (B.E./B.Tech/MCA)
  • Must be from a regular full-time program (part-time and distance learning programs not accepted)
