Service Engineer

Location: New Delhi / Noida

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / M.Sc. (Preferred Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering)

Experience: 5 to 10 Years

Industry Preference:

Candidates with experience in the Water and Wastewater Treatment Industry (Operation & Maintenance / Service) will be preferred.

Job Summary:

The Service Engineer will be responsible for managing the operations and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment systems such as STP, ETP, RO, and WTP across multiple sites. The role involves technical supervision, client coordination, documentation, and ensuring smooth and efficient plant performance with adherence to safety and compliance norms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operation & Maintenance:

  • Handle O&M activities of STP, ETP, RO, and WTP systems across multiple sites.

  • Monitor plant parameters, troubleshoot issues, and ensure consistent and efficient operation.

  • Ensure compliance with contractual performance parameters and quality standards.

  • Client & Site Coordination:

  • Coordinate with site teams for daily operational updates and performance reporting.

  • Maintain regular communication with clients to address queries, ensure satisfaction, and provide timely support.

  • Prepare and submit operational reports as per schedule.

  • Commercial & Documentation Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely monthly bill submission, payment follow-up, and AMC renewal activities.

  • Maintain accurate site documentation, logbooks, and operational data.

  • Safety & Compliance:

  • Ensure strict adherence to safety norms and standard operating procedures at all sites.

  • Promote a safe working environment through regular safety checks and awareness sessions.

  • Technical & Support Functions:

  • Provide technical support for troubleshooting and performance optimization.

  • Coordinate with the central O&M team for spares, consumables, and maintenance planning.
  • Support site audits and client review meetings.

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong technical knowledge of STP / ETP / RO / WTP systems
  • Hands-on operational and troubleshooting expertise
  • Client coordination and communication skills
  • Experience in billing, AMC, and payment follow-up
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental compliance
  • Proficiency in MS Office and report preparation
  • Ability to handle multiple sites independently
