Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Java, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Oracle Database to join our team for a strategic project with our esteemed client, NatWest. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems, with a focus on security, data migration, and high availability.

We are specifically looking for candidates who are immediate joiners or have a notice period of 15 days or less.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop backend systems using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
  • Build and deploy microservices in a cloud-native environment
  • Work with Helm, Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized deployments
  • Perform data migration activities, including analysis, validation, and reconciliation
  • Perform troubleshooting, performance tuning, and capacity planning with Oracle Database
  • Integrate and manage MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) solutions
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams
  • Analyze and resolve issues, provide effective solutions, and ensure high code quality
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, integrating tools like Vault and automated testing
  • Configure application monitoring using tools like DX-APM, Splunk, etc.
  • Maintain effective communication with team leads and stakeholders

Required Skills:

  • 6 to 10 years of backend development experience
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
  • Experience with cloud platforms and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Helm, Docker)
  • Working knowledge of OpenShift Platform
  • Deep understanding of Oracle Database (SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning, capacity planning)
  • Proven experience in Data Migration projects (planning, execution, validation)
  • Prior hands-on experience with MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) products
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Self-driven and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Good to Have (Value Adds):

  • Familiarity with Maven/Gradle
  • Experience in application performance monitoring (e.g., DX-APM)
  • Exposure to Splunk for log monitoring
  • Strong understanding of Git and GitFlow
  • Basic knowledge of Linux shell scripting and system/network fundamentals
  • Experience in setting up application-level monitoring and alerts
