Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Dal Miller to take full responsibility for the operations of our Dal (Pulses) Processing Unit in Nairobi, Kenya. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in handling all types of pulses and in-depth knowledge of milling processes from raw material intake to final packing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end Dal Mill operations, ensuring smooth functioning of all machinery and processes.
• Manage cleaning, grading, dehusking, splitting, and polishing of various pulses such as Toor, Moong, Chana, Masoor, and Urad Dal.
• Maintain quality standards and ensure minimum wastage during production.
• Supervise mill workers, assign daily tasks, and monitor performance.
• Ensure timely maintenance and troubleshooting of milling machinery.
• Manage inventory and stock levels of raw materials and finished goods.
• Implement safety protocols and hygiene standards in the factory.
• Coordinate with management on production targets, dispatch, and reporting.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Dal/Pulses Mill operation.
• Strong technical knowledge of milling machinery and process flow.
• Ability to manage a team and handle day-to-day mill operations independently.
• Good communication and record-keeping skills.
• Willingness to work in Nairobi, Kenya under company-provided accommodation and facilities.

Pay: ₹60, ₹65,000.00 per month
