Job Title: Field Sales Executive – Solar Industry
Location: Nashik District
Department: Sales & Marketing
Reports To: Sales Manager
Job Summary:
The Field Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities for solar energy solutions. The role involves on-ground sales activities, customer relationship management, and driving revenue growth by promoting solar panels, solar power systems, and related products and services to residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate leads through field visits, networking, referrals, and local marketing initiatives.
- Meet with potential customers to understand their energy needs and recommend suitable solar solutions.
- Conduct site surveys and coordinate with technical teams for feasibility studies.
- Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and cost-benefit analyses to clients.
- Negotiate terms and close sales to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
- Maintain relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and referrals.
- Gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing trends, and emerging solar technologies.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, Installation, Finance) for smooth project execution.
- Participate in exhibitions, seminars, and other promotional events to build brand presence.
- Submit daily and weekly sales reports to the Sales Manager.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Basic technical understanding of solar products and renewable energy systems
- Goal-oriented, with a proven record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and mobile sales applications
Qualifications:
- Any Graduate , Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in field sales, preferably in solar, renewable energy, electrical, or power industry
- Two-wheeler and valid driving license mandatory
Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Monthly and quarterly sales target achievement
- Lead-to-sale conversion ratio
- Customer satisfaction and retention rate
- Territory growth and new account acquisition
