About the Company

We are developing a custom ERP platform used across our 200+ member engineering organization. The ERP covers project management, task allocation, timesheets, HR onboarding, and various operational workflows. As we expand, we are looking for a dedicated Product QA Tester who will serve as the quality checkpoint for all releases.

This role is manual QA-focused( (NOT automation-heavy )

Candidate responsibility is to ensure the product behaviour, workflow logic, and UI match the design and expectations.

Role Overview

The Product QA Tester will test and validate the functionality, workflows, and UI/UX of our internal ERP system. You will work closely with the Product Manager, UI/UX team, and developers to identify issues early, ensure stable releases, and prevent regressions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Test Case Creation

  • Review Figma designs and requirement documents
  • Create detailed manual test cases
  • Define expected behaviour, edge cases, and negative scenarios
  • Maintain and update regression test suites

2. UI/UX Validation

  • Validate screens against Figma mockups
  • Check components, spacing, layouts, and navigation accuracy
  • Report UI/visual issues with screenshots or videos

3. Functional & Workflow Testing

  • Test end-to-end workflows across ERP modules
  • Validate data behaviour, state changes, and role-based visibility
  • Ensure performance and stability during common user interactions

4. Pre-Production Testing

  • Test features in staging/pre-production environments
  • Log bugs clearly with steps-to-reproduce
  • Re-test fixes and ensure no regressions
  • Verify features meet acceptance criteria

5. Quality Ownership

  • Act as the final QA gatekeeper for releases
  • Ensure only fully tested and stable features go live
  • Maintain structured documentation
  • Collaborate with PM and developers to prevent issues early

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2-6 years of manual QA experience for web applications
  • Experience testing dashboards, CRMs, ERPs, or SaaS platforms
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX patterns and responsive layouts
  • Ability to interpret Figma designs
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills
  • Experience with Jira or similar bug-tracking tools
