We're looking for a skilled and motivated SSIS Developer with 5+ years of experience to join our team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining our database and data integration solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data systems, from optimizing database performance to building robust ETL processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Database Development & Management

  • Design and develop SQL Server databases, including tables, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
  • Optimize database performance by fine-tuning queries, creating effective indexing strategies, and analyzing execution plans.
  • Implement and monitor database security, backup, and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.

ETL / Data Integration (SSIS)

  • Create and maintain SSIS packages for the extraction, transformation, and loading of data (ETL) across various systems.
  • Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot SSIS jobs to guarantee accurate and timely data delivery.
  • Perform data validation, cleansing, and quality checks to maintain high data standards.

Collaboration & Documentation

  • Partner with business analysts, developers, and other data teams to understand requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
  • Create and maintain clear documentation for database designs, ETL processes, and operational procedures.
  • Provide technical support for production issues, ensuring minimal service disruption.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve the performance of our database and ETL environments.
  • Stay current with the latest SQL Server and data integration best practices.

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (2016 or later), including T-SQL development, performance tuning, and query optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for building, deploying, and managing ETL solutions.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server Agent for job scheduling and monitoring.
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts, including star/snowflake schemas and dimensional modeling.
  • Familiarity with source control (e.g., Git, TFS) and CI/CD pipelines for database deployments.

PREFFERED SKILLS

  • Experience with AWS Services, Airflow, and Python.
  • Exposure to cloud-based databases, preferably Snowflake.
  • Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks.

SOFT SKILLS

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Internship, Contractual / Temporary

Contract length: 4 months

Pay: Up to ₹1,400,000.00 per year
