Role Description

This is a temporary, on-site role for a Rotary Technician based in Jamnagar. The Rotary Technician will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing rotary equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, and other rotating machinery. The role requires routine assessments of equipment performance, execution of preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with operational safety standards. Collaboration with the operations and engineering teams will be necessary to identify and address technical challenges.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of rotary equipment such as pumps, compressors, and turbines.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, drawings, and specifications (e.g., alignment tools, lubrication systems).
  • Knowledge of industrial safety practices and procedures relevant to asset-intensive industries.
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, communicate technical information effectively, and adhere to project timelines.
  • Prior experience working in high-risk environments, such as energy, chemical, and industrial sectors, is a plus.
  • Relevant technical diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
