We are seeking a detail-oriented quantitative research analyst to join our equities alternatives investment fund team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in the quantitative equities research space and a strong foundation in quantitative analysis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with experienced professionals and contribute to the development of systematic investment strategies in India.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to equity markets.
  • Back testing & Model Development: Assist in the development and implementation of quantitative models to support trading strategies and investment decisions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate real-time & historical performance of quantitative models and trading strategies.
  • Risk analysis: Develop workflows and innovative methods for identifying and quantifying investment risk.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with portfolio managers, and other team members to support the investment process.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Strong programming expertise in any language, preferably Python. Experience with SQL and data visualization is a plus.
  • Machine learning and AI: Strong machine learning experience is highly appreciated. Experience in use of AI workflows in investing is a big plus.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in quantitative analysis within the equities portfolio management.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
