Role Summary

We are seeking a talented RPA Developer with extensive experience in Blue Prism to join our team. The role would be responsible for automating Equiniti's Business processes spanning multiple applications using RPA including mainframe applications. The role may have to deal with OCR capabilities to read and understand scanned documents within the processes and make appropriate decisions. The role requires working very closely with the Business teams to understand the process and look at opportunities to improvise before automating it.

Core Duties/Responsibilities

• RPA Development:
• Collaborate with stakeholders within the banking domain to identify and prioritize automation opportunities.
• Design, develop, and implement robust automation solutions using Blue Prism to optimize processes.
• Configure and deploy Blue Prism robots to automate routine tasks across applications and systems.
• SQL Expertise:
• Utilize SQL queries and database manipulation techniques to extract, transform, and load (ETL) banking data for automation purposes.
• Develop SQL-based automation scripts to streamline data-intensive processes, such as transaction reconciliations and reporting.
• OCR Tools Integration:
• Implement OCR tools to automate document processing and data extraction
• Design and deploy OCR-based solutions to digitize and extract relevant information from documents.
• Mainframe Application Automation:
• Leverage Blue Prism to automate interactions with mainframe applications.
• Testing and Quality Assurance:
• Conduct comprehensive testing of automation solutions to ensure adherence to regulations, data accuracy, and system reliability.
• Collaborate with QA teams to develop and execute test plans, including UAT, for RPA implementations
• Deployment and Maintenance:
• Deploy automation solutions in production environments ensuring minimal disruption to existing operations.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed RPA solutions, including troubleshooting and resolution of issues.

Skills, Capabilities And Attributes
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience, skills and behaviors:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience working in Blue Prism
• Subject matter expert in the usage and functionality of the RPA software, openness to work with new technologies is mandatory.
• Should have an excellent programming/software development background.
• Minimum experience of 3-4 years in .Net, or VB/VBA, and PowerShell is a strong plus.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, Javascript (or any scripting language) and dealing with SQL databases is a plus.
• Excellent, proactive problem solver, strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex requirements and define technical/functional advanced solutions.
• Should have excellent communication skills in both written & verbal English (and have worked in a global/multicultural environment).
• Basic to average understanding of the business processes to be automated can increase efficiency.
• Previous experience in application or in an implementation support domain is a plus.
• Previous experience working with other RPA tools is a plus.
