Summary :

The candidate will be supporting the Database Production Operations of the SFMS applications

Education:

B.E/ B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA(Computer/IT

Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.  

Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.  

Basic understanding of Oracle Database architecture and tools.  

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  

Eagerness to learn and work in a team-oriented environment.  

Good communication skills.

Knowledge:

Candidate should have good knowledge of Windows and any one of the UNIX environments (AIX/RHEL).

Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.  

 Basic understanding of Oracle Database architecture and tools.  

 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  

 Eagerness to learn and work in a team-oriented environment.  

 Good communication skills.  

Good to have knowledge on PostgreSQL

Technical Skills:

Oracle Database 19c, Postgres 16

Roles and Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities :

1) Minimum 6 years of DBA working experience building, deploying, and administering distributed Oracle DBMS, Oracle OEM, Oracle RAC, Oracle ASM and PostgreSQL. 

2) Sound knowledge of Oracle databases on RAC platform with hands on experience with design, development, and implementation in a large enterprise.

3) Solid hands-on experience with Oracle RAC database management and support.

4) Hands on experience with database security and database encryption.

5)Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle databases.  

6)Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure availability and reliability.  

7)Perform basic database backups, restores, and recovery procedures.  

8)Collaborate with senior DBAs and developers to optimize database performance.  

9) Participate in database security measures and compliance requirements.  

10)Execute routine database tasks, including user management and permissions.  

11) Document database-related processes and procedures.  

12) Stay updated on Oracle technologies and best practices.
