Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven
Data Engineer
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Oracle databases, Tableau BI, and data analytics tools. This role demands strong analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Oracle database components using SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Design, implement, and optimize Tableau dashboards and reports.
  • Conduct performance tuning of database queries and Tableau visualizations.
  • Work with advanced Oracle features such as partitions and manage Tableau Server architecture.
  • Utilize data analytics tools including Python, Alteryx, and Excel for insights and automation.
  • Implement DevOps practices using tools such as JIRA, Jenkins/TeamCity, GitLab, Nexus, and SonarQube.
  • Manage and schedule workflows using Autosys; execute and troubleshoot UNIX/Linux shell commands.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and contribute to technical solution design.
  • Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards.
  • Drive innovation and lead initiatives that improve data infrastructure and processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning techniques.
  • Expertise in Tableau development and server administration.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in Python, Alteryx, and advanced Excel.
  • Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines and version control.
  • Proficiency in job scheduling (Autosys) and UNIX/Linux command-line operations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
