Job Title: Electrical Technician

Department: Maintenance / Electrical

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Technician to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems, including HT & LT panels, breakers, and DG sets. The candidate should ensure smooth functioning of electrical installations while adhering to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain HT (High Tension) and LT (Low Tension) panels.
  • Operate and maintain HT & LT breakers effectively.
  • Operate, monitor, and maintain DG (Diesel Generator) sets.
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems and machinery.
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults in panels, breakers, and DG systems.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Assist in planning and execution of electrical upgrades or installations.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for electrical work.
  • Support energy efficiency and power management initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Diploma/ITI in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience with HT & LT panels, HT & LT breakers, and DG sets.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety standards and industrial practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
  • Physically fit to work in industrial environments.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

  • Experience with PLC systems or industrial automation.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy systems or energy efficiency projects.
  • Electrical safety certifications.

Work Environment:

  • Industrial/plant environment with exposure to electrical panels and machinery.
  • May require shift work or on-call support.
