Role Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Urban Designer with 8-10 years of professional experience and a strong foundation in architectural design. This role involves leading complex urban development projects, integrating architectural sensibilities with urban planning strategies to create vibrant, sustainable, and inclusive environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and execution of master plans, public realm strategies, and urban regeneration projects.
  • Integrate architectural design principles into urban-scale solutions, ensuring spatial coherence and contextual sensitivity.
  • Conduct site analysis, feasibility studies, and stakeholder engagement to inform design direction.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, planners, landscape architects, and engineers.
  • Prepare high-quality visualizations, reports, and presentations for clients, public agencies, and community forums.
  • Mentor junior designers and contribute to internal design reviews and knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or masters degree in urban design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 810 years of experience in urban design with demonstrable architectural design expertise.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and GIS.
  • Strong understanding of zoning regulations, sustainability principles, and urban policy frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in transit-oriented development, mixed-use planning, or waterfront revitalization.
  • Familiarity with stakeholder engagement and participatory design processes.
  • LEED accreditation or equivalent sustainability certification is a plus.
