About the Role

We are looking for a
Senior Software Engineer – Backend
to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and developing scalable backend systems that power our core platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, lead critical backend initiatives, and ensure the reliability, performance, and maintainability of our systems.

You should have deep expertise in
Python, , or Golang
, with strong familiarity in
AWS

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

CI/CD

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient backend systems and services.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and QA teams to deliver features from concept to deployment.
  • Architect cloud-native solutions ensuring reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Optimize backend performance, focusing on low latency, scalability, and resource efficiency.
  • Collaborate with front-end engineers and stakeholders to translate product requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve backend issues including performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code; implement unit tests and integration tests.
  • Design and optimize database structures (SQL, NoSQL, or Graph databases) ensuring data integrity and query efficiency.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in backend development.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years
    of professional backend development experience.
  • Proficiency in

  • Proven experience designing and delivering production-grade software through all phases of the SDLC.
  • Strong understanding of
    relational

    containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
    , and
    microservices architecture
    .
  • Experience with
    AWS
    ,
    Azure
    , or
    Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

    serverless architectures
    .
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Passion for scalable engineering and interest in
    DeFi
    or emerging financial technologies (preferred).
