Key Responsibilities
- Supervision and Leadership:
- Lead a team of electricians by providing guidance, assigning tasks, and managing work schedules to ensure the timely completion of projects and tasks.
- Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and facilitate training to enhance skills and productivity.
- Electrical Installation and Maintenance:
- Coordinate and oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.
- Ensure that electrical work is carried out in accordance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
- Safety Compliance:
- Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents, injuries, and hazards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any identified risks promptly.
- Technical Expertise:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to the team when dealing with complex electrical issues or challenges.
- Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and regulations related to electrical systems.
- Project Management:
- Collaborate with project managers and other departments to plan and execute electrical projects within designated timelines and budgets.
- Ensure adequate resources, materials, and equipment are available for successful project completion.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of electrical work, including installation details, maintenance schedules, and repairs performed.
- Generate reports on project progress, work completed, and any issues encountered.
- Quality Assurance:
- Monitor the quality of electrical work performed by the team to ensure it meets established standards and specifications.
- Address any deviations or deficiencies promptly and implement corrective actions.
- Budget Management:
- Assist in budget planning by estimating electrical project costs, labor requirements, and necessary materials.
- Manage expenses to stay within budget constraints.
- Coordination and Communication:
- Collaborate with other supervisors, departments, and contractors to ensure smooth coordination of activities and projects.
