About Role

With a strong foundation in accounting principles, good communication skills, and at least 1+ year of relevant experience, located in or around Chennai, you will be responsible for various accounting and financial tasks, from maintaining precise records to presenting insightful analyses to key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Complying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting, and financial regulations.
  • Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data.
  • Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.
  • Presenting data to managers, investors, and other entities.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Performing audits and resolving discrepancies.
  • Computing taxes.
  • Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.
  • Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.

Required Candidate profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Knowledge on Journal entries
  • Knowledge on GST, IGST, SGST
  • Demonstrate intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization
  • Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation.
