We are seeking a highly creative and technically proficient Senior Motion Graphic Designer to conceptualize, design, and execute engaging visual content across motion and static formats. The ideal candidate will combine strong ideation skills, advanced motion design expertise, and a deep understanding of brand storytelling to deliver impactful visuals across multiple digital platforms. This role requires ownership from concept to delivery, active collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
Ideation & Visualisation

  • Conceptualize creative ideas and visual strategies for motion and static content aligned with brand objectives.
  • Develop storyboards, visual references, and mood boards to define creative direction.
  • Translate concepts into clear, executable designs and ensure consistency across deliverables.

Motion Design & Creative Execution

  • Design and produce high-quality motion graphics content including videos, explainers, and bumpers.
  • Maintain consistency in animation style, typography, and brand alignment across outputs.
  • Integrate innovative motion transitions, animation techniques, sound effects and visual storytelling methods to enhance engagement.

Static & Cross-platform Design

  • Support and design static deliverables such as banners, posts, and landing pages as per brand guidelines.
  • Adapt and optimize creatives for multiple platforms including Meta, YouTube, and Google, ensuring correct sizing, framing, and format standards.
  • Maintain high visual quality and technical accuracy across all platform versions.

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Collaborate with Art Directors, Copywriters, and team members to ensure alignment on creative direction and timelines.
  • Manage feedback loops effectively and ensure timely delivery of all assigned projects.
  • Maintain organized file structures, project trackers, and version control in Asana or Sheets.

Leadership & Mentorship

  • Guide junior designers on tools, design techniques, and motion workflows.
  • Provide constructive feedback through peer reviews and assist in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages learning and creative growth.

Learning & Innovation

  • Stay updated with the latest trends, AI tools, and practices in motion design and animation.
  • Explore new techniques such as CGI, 3D animation, and AI-assisted workflows to enhance creative outputs.
  • Contribute to the team's growth by sharing learnings and integrating innovative approaches into regular workflows.

Requirements
Experience & Skills

  • 4–5 years of experience in motion graphic design, animation, and visual communication, preferably in an agency or creative studio.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both motion and static design across diverse brands and platforms.

Technical Proficiency

  • Expertise in:
  • Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Knowledge of 3D/CGI tools such as Cinema 4D or Blender (preferred).
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as Midjourney, Runway, Kling etc.

Creative & Strategic Thinking

  • Strong sense of timing, composition, and storytelling in motion graphics.
  • Ability to translate ideas into visually compelling and brand-aligned designs.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational abilities with attention to timelines, feedback, and detail.
