The Assistant Engineer Estate Maintenance will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and smooth functioning of all estate-related infrastructure and facilities, including civil, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical works. The role requires coordination with internal teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely upkeep and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor daily maintenance activities across the campus/estate.
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for civil, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related systems.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers for facility upkeep and repair works.
- Ensure timely resolution of maintenance requests and complaints raised by stakeholders.
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and maintenance schedules.
- Monitor usage of materials, tools, and resources, ensuring optimal utilization and minimal wastage.
- Inspect estate buildings, hostels, classrooms, labs, and common facilities for safety, structural integrity, and compliance.
- Maintain documentation, reports, and records related to estate maintenance.
- Ensure adherence to statutory compliance, safety regulations, and sustainability practices.
- Support estate development projects and infrastructure expansion as directed by senior management.
Preference :
DCE / B.Tech with minimum 10 years experience. Experience in multistorey, infrastructure and industrial structure / Estate maintenance is preferrable.
