We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Analyst, FC Detection and DE
Principal responsibilities
Recognising data as an asset to HSBC by managing Data Risk and ensuring we are compliant with our Data standards and policies.Using analytics and data science to unlock the value of our data.Applying new age technologies like Python, GCP Cloud, GitHub to develop business rules and risk factors. Develop methodology and data driven approach to optimize the modelAnalyse data and find insight to support the functioning of model. Help in roll out of model in multiple countries as per plan.Model monitoring and model governance for the Financial Crime Risk model.They will ensure compliance with HSBC's Model Development Standards, remain abreast of latest developments in Modelling tools and techniques and advise leadership on maintaining market leading capabilities. The main aim is to provide a model which broadly satisfies the purpose and broadly functions in the given use cases.Qualifications:
Educational background of one of the following degrees or higher – B.Tech, MBA, MCA, Masters in Economics / Statistics.Minimum of 2 years of working experience is required. Knowledge of Python is mandatoryHaving a work experience of basic statistical modelling is mandatoryBanking experience is preferred. Experience of Optimization of solutions is preferredModel governance and Model monitoring experience is preferredCloud / GCP experience would be good to haveUnderstand the Quantexa Model Architecture and finding opportunity to optimize the modelDevelop new risk factors and scenarios to support the effectiveness of model. Optimize the model for effectiveness and efficiency.You'll achieve more at HSBC
