Team Lead Full Stack Engineer

Technical Leadership

· Lead the development of financial products, driving design, architecture, and implementation of core application features.

· Provide technical direction across backend (.NET Core, distributed systems) and frontend (React, component libraries) technologies.

· Ensure systems are scalable, secure, performant, and compliant with financial standards.

· Oversee integrations with APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures within the CBO platform.

· Apply best practices including SOLID principles, unit testing, and observability.

· Reverse engineer and refactor legacy code to improve maintainability and extend functionality.

· Leverage AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to increase team productivity.

Team Management & Delivery

· Manage the day-to-day operations of a cross-functional engineering team, ensuring timely and high-quality deliveries.

· Work with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

· Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

· Mentor and coach engineers at different levels (backend, frontend, and full stack) to develop their technical and professional skills.

· Drive adoption of modern engineering practices, CI/CD, and cloud-native solutions.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

· Partner with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, DevOps, and Operations.

· Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment between business goals and technical execution.

· Provide input into the strategic direction of CBO platform development, balancing innovation with delivery needs.

· 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in a technical leadership or team lead role.

· Strong full-stack expertise:

o Backend: .NET Core / C#, distributed systems, microservices, APIs, event-driven patterns.

o Frontend: React, modern UI frameworks, component library design, state management.

· Experience in financial systems, back-office automation, or enterprise platforms strongly preferred.

· Strong understanding of cloud environments (Azure or AWS) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

· Proven experience with reverse engineering and refactoring legacy applications.

· Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot).

· Excellent problem-solving, architectural thinking, and communication skills.

· Track record of building and leading high-performing engineering teams.
