We are hiring for the role of Fire Safety Officer:

Job Role: Fire Safety Officer

Job Location: Hyderabad

Experience: 10 years

Salary: Rs to Rs 60000 per month

Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Fire Engineering & Fire Safety

Job Responsibilities:

  • Performs regular fire safety inspections of all facilities ensuring that they meet all necessary codes and regulations.
  • Respond to fire emergencies, investigating and reporting the causes of fire and taking appropriate responsive actions.
  • Ensure that the fire safety measures in the hospital like fire evacuation exits and fire extinguishers are in proper working conditions.
  • Actively facilitate and conduct training classes and mock drills on fire safety.
  • Maintain all fire safety equipment in the building, such as fire extinguishers and other fire related equipment, replacing dysfunctional equipment when it cannot be fixed.
  • Assures that fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, fire alarms, sprinkler system and fire hydrants are in operating condition; conducts fire drills and participates in fire
  • Coordinate with maintenance team to perform preventative work on buildings and equipment as well to reduce the need for maintenance and replacement.
  • Ensure that all fire and life safety systems installed in the premises, working in an effective and efficiency manner.
  • Provide criteria on determining the number or type of fire extinguishers needed in a given area.
  • Must have knowledge about all emergency codes
  • Prepare & Implement Disaster & Emergency management plan.
  • Develop and recommend fire protection & safety policy for implementation for the premises.
  • Liaison with the local fire department authority.
  • Good knowledge of current fire suppression and firefighting techniques, including all related equipment

Job Requirements:

  • Must have experience of working with Hospitals
  • Candidates from Hyderabad will be preferred
  • Must have good communication skills in English, Hindi and Telugu
  • Diploma/Degree in Fire Engineering & Fire Safety is required
  • Should be open to travel across Units

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30, ₹60,000.00 per month
