Key Responsibilities: We are looking for a sovereign research analyst based out of Mumbai, India to cover borrowers in the emerging markets with offshore hard currency bonds.Day-to-day activities include: Detailed analysis and forecasting of debt and risks from sovereign issuers in the emerging market investment and sub-investment grade rated space

The ability to assess different drivers such as economic policy, geopolitical and local political factors for their effects on sovereign creditworthiness

Produce quantitative analysis and research on the sovereigns under coverage, providing an assessment of hard currency and local currency sovereign bonds

Support REDD's proprietary news and analysis teams to better understand emerging sovereign credit situations under coverage. Publishing research reports related to the sovereigns REDD Intelligence covers.Requirements: Three to five years' experience with economic coverage of the emerging markets sovereign spaceA master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., international economics /mathematics/manangement/finance) or a CFAKnowledge of the global fixed income and currency markets

The ability to work collaboratively in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment

An understanding of credit ratings and methodologies is a plus. A demonstrated interest in emerging market fixed income
