Job Description: Factory/Works Engineer (Mechanical/Production)

FFP Eco Technologies Pvt. Ltd., with its Works located at Silvassa (DNH), is looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, and active factory/works Engineer (Mechanical/Production) with necessary skills to support and manage the Production, Inspection and Despatch activities our engineering team for various products/items. You will join our growing team and be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring health and safety codes are followed, training workers in the responsible use of machinery, identifying problems in the production line, troubleshooting equipment, and completing various administrative tasks. candidate should have an ability to perform independently and should be a keen problem-solver. Engineer should be are able to diagnose problems, train staff, and provide effective recommendations.

Candidates' tasks will include preparing and execution of Production, Procurement, Inspection and Testing Plans with proper detailing.

Typical duties and responsibilities:

· To Plan, coordinate and supervise manufacturing / production activities on daily basis with proper manpower allocation. And ensure thatquality work is done in a safe, efficient and timely manner.

· Develop and optimize manufacturing process to effectively utilize men, equipment and materials to maximize production.

· Providing detailed procurement requirement with technical specifications to procurement team. Provide technical support for production and maintenance activities to avoid bottlenecks and delays.

· Evaluate current production activities and make recommendations for improvements. Implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high quality standards. Identifying, documenting, and reporting unsafe practices.

· Field Visit / Site Visit / Client visits.

· Checking and Validation of Documents for Orders, Proposals, Budgeting, etc. which may include, but not limited to; Datasheets, Catalogues, Drawings, Quality, other documents, etc.

· Understanding the products, manufacturing procedures, commercial terms, company background and philosophy.

· Co-ordination internally with Sales Team for approvals, inspection, dispatches, invoicing, incoming payment and other documentation.

· Prepare & Develop Standard Operating Procedure's (SOPs) for all processes in question for better control on quality, time and fixing accountability.

· Manuals / Drawings / Documents preparation shall be done to industry standards or better.

· Related functions as may be required to achieve the production target and customer timelines. including the para above. Assist other colleagues in task / job completion as may be required.

· All documentation as may be required, site/vendor/client visit, client servicing and communication shall also be a part of the profile, which is why Good command over English language is required.

· Any other Work/Duty as may be assigned from time to time.

Required skills and qualities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (both spoken and written) is a pre-requisite and a must
• Proficient in Mechanical / Production Engineering knowledge, and application related to fabrication and machine manufacturing. Should be well versed with Welding, Turning and Fitment procedures and technicalities. Ability to understand and explain, technical drawings and plans.
• Should be proficient with Word, Excel, PDF, Power point, Outlook, Email Clients and any other such software.
• Should be well versant with 3D & 2D CAD softwares'
• Focus of timelines with quality and detailing. Expertise in time management and the ability to meet deadlines
• Strong collaborative and interpersonal ability. Good analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Strong leadership abilities.
• Ability to understand technical drawings and plans
• Good math and computer skills
• Keen attention to minute/small details

Preferred qualifications, Education and experience:

· Diploma / Certificate / Degree in Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Production Engineering

· Schooling / Education should be in English medium

· 5+ years of experience

· Familiar with Word / Excel / Power Point / PDF / / AutoCAD 2D/3D / Solid Works / Email Clients' and other such related software required for day to day work

· Ability to self-manage & work independently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹30,000.00 per month
