Job Description:

We are hiring a Senior Data Engineer for a prestigious German multinational client in the automotive domain. The role involves leading data engineering initiatives within a large-scale analytics project focused on cloud transformation and advanced data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Azure Synapse, Databricks, and related tools.
  • Perform ETL/ELT operations on structured and unstructured data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
  • Write efficient SQL queries, Python/Scala scripts, and integrate APIs.
  • Ensure timely deployment and support of data products.
  • Work in Agile teams (Scrum/Kanban) and participate in sprint planning and stand-ups.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Cloud: Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps
  • Big Data: Databricks, Apache Spark, Hive, Delta Lake
  • Programming: Python, SQL, Scala (preferred)
  • Databases: SQL Server, CosmosDB, MongoDB, Cassandra
  • DevOps: Git, Jenkins, Docker, Terraform
  • Others: CI/CD, Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, API Integration

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Certifications in Azure or Databricks are a plus
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
