Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin, Java, and the Android SDK.
- Work with MVVM architecture and Jetpack components such as ViewModel, LiveData, and Room.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, Firebase, AWS, and other third-party libraries and services.
- Design and implement responsive UIs using XML layouts or Jetpack Compose.
- Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and QA teams to deliver robust and scalable features.
- Handle app performance optimization, bug fixing, and Play Store deployments.
- Stay up to date with the latest Android trends, tools, and technologies.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
- Experience with MVVM, Jetpack components, and Android architecture patterns.
- Ability to implement multithreading and asynchronous programming using Coroutines, Threads, or Executors for optimal app performance.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON parsing, and network handling.
- Familiarity with local storage systems such as SQLite and Room Database for efficient data persistence.
- Experience with Git, Gradle, and Android build tools.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Good to Have
- Knowledge of Flutter or React Native for cross-platform development.
- Exposure to Play Store release management and app analytics tools.
