Commercial Officer

Supervise on-site construction activities for road, runway, taxiway, apron, and related civil works.

Monitor earthwork, GSB, WMM, DBM, BC, PQC, DLC, and other pavement layers ensuring quality and specifications are met.

Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with IRC, MORTH, ICAO, and project technical standards.

Verify levels, alignment, and gradients using Total Station, Auto Level, and other surveying instruments.

Coordinate with contractors, survey teams, lab technicians, equipment operators, and manpower for smooth workflow.

Ensure material quality, correct laying procedures, and proper compaction for pavement construction.

Prepare daily progress reports, checklists, documentation, and assist with client/consultant inspections.

Resolve technical issues related to pavement, structures, drainage, lighting ducts, and underground utilities.

Maintain strict safety protocols and adhere to aviation security guidelines when working in airport zones.

Oversee subcontractor performance and support project completion within time and cost targets.

Assist in field and laboratory tests including FDD, core cutting, slump, cubes, and asphalt testing.

Support final testing, commissioning, and section-wise project handover.
