AEM_Java Developer

About the Role

Techila Global Services is hiring AEM + Java Developers to join our high-performing Digital Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development and a solid foundation in Core Java / Spring Boot, building scalable, high-performance web solutions.

Location: Viman Nagar, Pune (5 days working from office and alternate Saturday work from home)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain components, templates, and pages in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
• Build custom AEM components using HTL (Sightly), Sling Models, and Sling Servlets.
• Integrate AEM with backend systems and third-party APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful Web Services.
• Configure and manage AEM Dispatcher, ensuring optimal performance and caching.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable web applications.
• Manage version control with Git, build with Maven, and deploy through CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct unit and integration testing using JUnit / Mockito.
• Troubleshoot issues related to performance, caching, and deployments in AEM.

Must-Have Skills

• Hands-on experience in AEM 6.4+ (preferably AEM 6.5 or AEM Cloud Service).
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
• Expertise in Sling Models, Servlets, OSGi Framework, CRX Repository, HTL (Sightly).
• Experience with AEM Dispatcher configuration and AEM Scheduler.
• Familiarity with Maven, Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of RDBMS (PostgreSQL / Oracle) and Redis caching.
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology.

Good to Have

• Experience with Angular / ReactJS for front-end integration.
• Exposure to Cloud platforms (Azure / AWS).
• Knowledge of AEM workflows, Permissions, and User Management.
• Experience performing AEM upgrades / migration projects.
