Job Description – Tele Sales Executive / Senior Executive (Education Sales)

MERITERS is a leading platform for MDS exam preparation ), helping dental graduates and professionals achieve their academic and career goals through high-quality learning content, test prep, and expert guidance. We are now expanding our Sales team to scale our subscription-based education programs.

Role Overview:

We are looking for experienced Tele Sales Executives / Senior Executives with a proven background in outbound calls, lead conversion, and educational subscription sales. The ideal candidate will engage with prospective students, counsel them about 's offerings, and drive subscription sales through persuasive communication and relationship-building.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound sales calls to prospective leads, students, and parents to promote subscription plans.
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets through effective follow-ups and conversions.
  • Provide academic counseling to students regarding MERITERS' online learning programs, exams, and subscription benefits.
  • Maintain CRM records of leads, prospects, and customer interactions.
  • Handle objections professionally and ensure high conversion ratios.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams for feedback on leads, campaigns, and product improvements.
  • Upsell, cross-sell, and renew existing customer subscriptions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Tele Sales / Inside Sales / Outbound Calling (preferably in education subscription sales / edtech / test prep industry).
  • Strong communication & persuasion skills (English + regional languages preferred).
  • Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Basic knowledge of CRM tools and MS Office.
  • Graduate degree (any discipline); MBA or equivalent is an added advantage.
