Role Description – Site Supervisor

We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented Site Supervisor to join our team at VOLORA. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Secunderabad (Hyderabad), with some flexibility for remote coordination and reporting activities.

The Site Supervisor will oversee daily site operations, manage workforce activities, coordinate with vendors and clients, and ensure all interior execution projects meet VOLORA's standards of quality, safety, accuracy, and timeliness.

This role acts as a crucial link between management, clients, subcontractors, and on-site teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Site Operations & Execution
• Supervise end-to-end daily activities at the project site to ensure efficient workflow.

Client Management & Communication

• Act as the primary on-site representative for clients.
• Provide daily updates, progress photos, and short videos to share with both clients and management.
• Maintain professional communication, handle client queries, and ensure smooth coordination during execution.
• Ensure client expectations are clearly communicated to workers and vendors.

Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination

• Coordinate with subcontractors, technicians, and labor teams for smooth execution.
• Follow up with vendors for timely material delivery and installation.
• Maintain strong relationships to ensure better service, timely support, and accountability.

Team & Workforce Management

• Manage and supervise all workers on-site, including carpenters, electricians, painters, and other laborers.
• Allocate tasks daily and ensure each worker understands the work plan.
• Monitor attendance, productivity, and work discipline of site workers.
• Guide and train workers for better execution quality and efficiency.

Planning, Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily site logs, work progress documentation, and records of material usage.
• Prepare and verify measurements, BOQs, and work progress for billing.
• Update management regularly on progress, delays, and material requirements.
• Ensure proper documentation during site handover stages.

Quality Control & Safety

• Ensure all work meets VOLORA's quality benchmarks.
• Inspect material quality upon arrival and during installation.
• Implement and monitor safety guidelines for workers at the site.

Content & Media Updates

• Capture high-quality photos and videos of daily work progress for client reporting and content creation.
• Maintain organized folders for site media, updates, and documentation.

Travel & Mobility

• Must have a two-wheeler or four-wheeler for daily site visits across multiple locations.
• Ability to travel frequently between sites based on business requirements.
• Monitor progress of interior design execution, carpentry, modular work, wardrobe installation, and other fit-outs.
• Prepare day-wise work plans and ensure teams follow scheduled timelines.
• Conduct daily and weekly site inspections to ensure quality and design adherence.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, safety rules, and local building codes.
• Identify on-site issues early and resolve them to avoid delays.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in site supervision, project execution, or construction management (interior projects preferred).
• Strong technical knowledge of interior execution, wardrobe installation, carpentry, modular furniture, false ceiling, painting, civil work basics, and general fit-out works.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, floor plans, sections, elevations, and BOQs.
• Familiarity with safety protocols, site compliance, and quality control standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team coordination abilities.
• Must be able to communicate in English (medium level) + Hindi + Telugu (mandatory).
• Proficiency in MS Office, WhatsApp reporting, and basic project management tools.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Must own a two-wheeler/four-wheeler for site travel.
• Ability to supervise and handle multiple subcontractors, labour teams, and vendors.
• Relevant certifications (Safety, AutoCAD basics, Project Management, Interior Execution) are an added advantage.

• Strong client-handling and relationship-building capabilities.
• Good problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly during on-site issues.
• Basic photography & videography skills for daily updates and documentation.
• Ability to multitask and manage operations across multiple sites simultaneously.
• Good time-management and the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Strong ability to plan daily/weekly work schedules and ensure teams follow them.
• Knowledge of material identification, quality checking, and quantity verification.
• Ability to handle on-site conflicts, worker issues, or delays professionally.
• Familiarity with interior industry materials, production timelines, and installation processes.
• Experience in preparing site reports, progress logs, and measurement sheets
