Job Title: Engineering Architect

Key Responsibilities:
Design and evolve the system architecture for our SaaS-based education platform with scalability, maintainability, and performance in mind.
Lead architectural reviews, technical design discussions, and make decisions on core technology stacks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, DevOps, QA, and data science to deliver end-to-end features.
Evaluate and integrate new technologies, tools, and frameworks aligned with our strategic objectives.
Implement microservices and serverless architecture (where applicable) using AWS services like Lambda, ECS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, etc.
Define coding standards, architectural patterns, and governance for PHP (Laravel) and Python components.
Conduct performance benchmarking, identify bottlenecks, and optimize backend systems.
Mentor software engineers and promote engineering excellence through documentation and code reviews.
Ensure system security, compliance, and scalability in a multi-tenant SaaS environment.
Key Requirements:
12+ years of experience in backend development and architecture.
Strong experience in PHP frameworks and Python (Flask/FastAPI/Django).
Deep understanding of AWS Cloud Architecture, including EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, IAM, API Gateway, CloudFormation, etc.
Hands-on experience with RESTful API design, microservices, and messaging queues (like SQS or RabbitMQ).
Experience with CI/CD, containerization using Docker, and orchestration with ECS or Kubernetes.
Sound knowledge of RDBMS (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
