Job Description: As an Anti-Piracy Trainee at Oswaal Books, you will play a crucial role in identifying and combating piracy threats to our publications. You will work closely with our legal and publishing teams to monitor, detect, and take action against instances of unauthorized distribution and reproduction of our copyrighted material.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor online platforms, websites, and social media channels for instances of unauthorized distribution of our publications.

  2. Conduct investigations to identify individuals or entities involved in piracy activities.

  3. Collaborate with legal counsel to issue takedown notices and pursue legal action against infringers.

  4. Analyze trends and patterns in piracy activities to develop strategies for prevention and mitigation.

  5. Assist in the implementation of technological solutions to protect digital content from piracy.

  6. Educate internal stakeholders on best practices for copyright protection and enforcement.

  7. Maintain accurate records of piracy incidents and actions taken for reporting and analysis purposes.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in internet research and online investigation techniques.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
