Hello All,
We are looking for candidates for Senior Engineer - Structures position for our Building & Infrastructure service line at Centre West region (Gujarat & Madhya Pradesh), for locations Jamnagar, Vadodara & Hazira in Gujarat. Candidates with Post graduation (ME/MTech Structures) in Civil engineering and having experience in design & testing of Steel Structures shall be preferred for the position.
Major Responsibilities
Visual inspection of all structural steel items.
To highlight the defects due to overloading, design deficiency, settlement, thickness loss of steel structures etc .
Find extent of corrosion /distresses in steel structures etc.
Inspection report Preparation and preparing asset list- Requires following skills
I. Making Visual inspection & report
II. Making asset list with dimension and type (Load bearing, non-load bearing others)
III. Preparing NDT report and inferences in coordination with NDT technicians/Engineers .
IV. Making /supporting with sketches for Layout & distress mapping drawings
V. Conclusion of the inspection including providing and recommending most suitable techno- commercial and economical repairs/strengthening methodology, Detailed BOQ with specs and equivalent construction chemicals.
Drawing preparation-
I. Support Drafting team with sketches of Layout drawing mentioning all the members of the structure where drawing is not available.
II. To support drafting aid to make Distress mapping drawing of the defective area on a layout drawing.
Qualification and Experience
Post Graduate in Structures and having minimum 10 years of experience in design & testing of steel structures.
Note - Accommodation & Local transportation shall be provided at site locations.
