Roles and Responsibility
- Assist the Chef de Partie in planning and preparing menus for special events and functions.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Develop new recipes and menu ideas to enhance culinary offerings.
- Participate in inventory management and stock control.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a Commi I (Indian & Chinese) or similar role in a reputable establishment.
- Strong knowledge of Indian and Chinese cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
