Job Description – Senior Merchandiser

Location:
Tirupur, Tamil Nadu

Experience Required:
Minimum
8 years
in merchandising (preferably in the textile/garment industry)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle the complete merchandising cycle from development to shipment.
  • Coordinate with buyers for product development, costing, sampling, and approvals.
  • Manage order execution, production follow-up, and delivery timelines.
  • Work closely with design, sampling, production, and quality teams to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Prepare costing sheets, T&A plans, and maintain order tracking reports.
  • Monitor fabric, trims, accessories sourcing, and ensure timely approvals.
  • Maintain strong buyer communication and handle meetings, updates, and clarifications.
  • Ensure quality, compliance, and on-time delivery as per buyer standards.
  • Identify risks, solve issues proactively, and support team members.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of
    both knits and woven
    product categories.
  • Excellent communication and buyer-handling skills.
  • Strong in costing, T&A planning, and follow-up.
  • Good analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to manage multiple orders independently.
  • Education:
    Degree/Diploma in Fashion Technology / Apparel Merchandising (preferred)
