About The Role: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Media Manager with a strong background in journalism and news content creation. The ideal candidate will lead content creation focused on current affairs and manage a creative team of video editors and graphic designers to produce compelling digital content. This role demands an in-depth understanding of news cycles, excellent command of the Hindi language, and a demonstrated ability to manage the production of multimedia content effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

− Create and manage compelling content focused on current affairs across social media platforms.

− Collaborate closely with the video production team and graphic designers to ensure timely delivery of content.

− Develop social media strategies to maximize audience engagement and growth.

− Stay updated on national and international news trends and translate them into engaging content.

− Ensure content is accurate, timely, and adheres to journalistic ethics.

− Monitor social media performance, analyze metrics, and suggest improvements.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

− Excellent command of Hindi with strong reading, writing, and grammar skills.

− Strong editorial judgment and ability to create engaging, timely, and accurate content.

− Proven experience in news content creation, social media management, and content strategy.

− Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

− Proficient in social media platforms, content management systems, and graphic/video editing knowledge.

− Stay updated with current affairs, digital content and social media trends.

− Strong analytical skills to track performance metrics and optimize content strategy.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

− Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or equivalent from a reputed institution.

− Must have 3 to 4 years of proven experience in journalism, news content creation and social media management.
