About the Role:

We're looking for a seasoned Technical Lead who can guide a Databricks operations team, drive stability across the platform, and take charge of troubleshooting, governance and automation. If you've led support teams and have deep hands-on expertise with Databricks, Spark and Azure, you'll fit right in.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and mentor the support team
  • Run daily operations and ensure smooth 24×7 support
  • Validate releases/changes and recommend improvements
  • Lead troubleshooting bridges and RCA discussions
  • Identify automation opportunities and streamline processes
  • Strengthen operational controls, alerts and monitoring
  • Build dashboards and reports for operational insights
  • Ensure compliance, security tasks and governance
  • Train team members on Databricks and associated processes

Must-Have Skills:

  • 12–15 years in Big Data / Cloud Data Platform support
  • Deep expertise in Databricks (clusters, jobs, repos, MLflow, warehouse)
  • Strong Spark/Spark UI knowledge and job debugging
  • Hands-on experience with Azure, UNIX, SQL, Shell scripting
  • Good understanding of CI/CD (Azure DevOps)
